Interview With Hayley Faiman:
1 & 2. Can you tell us a little about your books? and For the Men of Baseball series, can they be read as a standalone or do they need to be read in order?
I currently have 3 series available, through Amazon and all are enrolled in KU. My first series is complete and called the Men of Baseball series. It is a Contemporary Sports Romance that leans toward RomCom. The first three books are Interconnected Standalones and can be read separately. The 4th book in the series is actually a companion Novella and should be read after the first three, otherwise you may not understand why the characters are the way they are ;)

My second series is called the Russian Bratva series. This is a Romantic Suspense, Mafia book. It is darker with darker themes, so there is a trigger warning attached to this entire series. Only the first book Owned by the Badman is available for purchase, the 2nd book however, is available for pre-order and will be live April 25th. Each book in this series is about a different couple, but I recommend reading them in order as the backstory continues throughout the series.

My third series is the Notorious Devils MC Series. Again, Romance is a theme, and this series is also a bit edgier than my Men of Baseball series but not quite as dark as my Bratva series. Though it is MC so expect some debauchery. The first book is called Rough & Rowdy and is live March 24th! The second book Rough & Raw will be available at the end of June.
3. For someone who hasn't read any of you books yet, which one would you suggest they read first?
For someone who hasn't read my books. It depends on what type of reading they wish for. Men of Baseball is lighter and more on the fun side. Russian Bratva is darker, complex, and suspenseful. Notorious Devils is edgy and rough. All of my books are sexually explicit, so you'll always have a healthy dose of sex and romance throughout each book.
 4. When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I knew I wanted to write when I was very young. When I was in kindergarten I wrote a play. Its been inside of me my entire life. My husband decided to take a job in Texas, we're originally from California and with this change he encouraged me not to go back to work in the 9-5 workforce but to instead pursue my dream of being an indie-author. So here I am!

5. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I don't have an outline, ever. I usually just sit down and write. I never know how a story is going to end, or what my characters are going to do.
6. How long on average does it take you to write a book?
On the average it takes about eight weeks to write a book from start to finish on my end, that includes one full read through before I send it off to my editor. My books range from 75K - 90K words. 7. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I have a desktop computer so I write in the same spot. I have a little writers nook with a full sized desk set up in my master bedroom. The hubbs doesn't feel so left out because he can do his own thing but we're together in the same room.

8. Do you listen to music while you write?
I don't typically listen to music when I write. I generally write during the day when my children are at school so I take advantage of the quiet.

9. What are you working on next?
I have just finished up the 3rd book in the Russian Bratva series, Dancing for the Badman, so now I'm diving back into the MC world and working on Rough & Rugged the 3rd novel in that series. I hope to have it finished and out by fall.
